The tanks are about a third and half way down. Between the links on the actual track and the spare links around the turret you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what they are supposed to look like. Any particular type you're going for as they vary quite a bit.

They have a shed load of walk-around photo's for a large number of vehicles, both old and new so should really be the first port of call when looking for details.
There are a good many listings for the panther so you just need to decide on which one you want.
