Hi need a 3d cad model for a panther track link so i can build a set , cannot visualise the link from drawings alone, can any kind person help

Can't help with the Cad model but there is a fairly good visualisation of the links on the following page : http://www.peperaart.com/.

The tanks are about a third and half way down. Between the links on the actual track and the spare links around the turret you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what they are supposed to look like. Any particular type you're going for as they vary quite a bit.

of course if you buy one of my panthers, you can import the spare track links or tracks into your modeler and see how I made mine. They are not perfect, but a very good representation if I do say so myself. :)

Forgot to mention also that a good place to start would be www.primeportal.net. 

They have a shed load of walk-around photo's for a large number of vehicles, both old and new so should really be the first port of call when looking for details.

There are a good many listings for the panther so you just need to decide on which one you want.
